“These Have I Loved”

These Have I Loved

 The early morning air;

The roosters crowing;

The feathers fiercely flying;

The pounding of the hammer in the barn;

The purring of my cats;

The gobble of the turkeys in the woods;

The clucking of my hens;

The fresh grass between my toes;

The stomping of the horse’s feet on the neighboring trail.

The bleating of my goats voice;

The revving engine in my brother’s truck;

The swaying wind through the trees;

The bell that rings on my brother’s ram;

All these things have I loved.
